大多数欧洲鲨鱼的数量因为过度捕捞而减少。不幸的是,欧盟对于割取鲨鱼鳍并且随意丢弃其尸体的禁令在世界上是最弱的。

“鱼翅汤？不，谢谢！！”

为什么对鱼翅汤说不？因为鲨鱼在这个星球上生存了4亿多年，并且如果只是因为一些人喜欢鱼翅汤而迫使它们在几十年间灭绝，这是极不道德的。我们站出来抵制国际鲨鱼鳍贸易。据估计，全球每年鲨鱼鳍的买卖有10000吨，该数字以每年5%的速度增长。中国大陆是最大的进口商。

欧洲人是如何参与进来的？有些人说欧洲人不吃鱼翅汤但是欧洲在香港鱼翅市场的参与，从90年代初微不足道的水平增长至全部进口量的三分之一。所以我们其实完全参与其中！

10月10日至18日的欧洲鲨鱼周是一个让欧洲各地人们表达对鲨鱼保护支持的机会。通过参与欧洲鲨鱼周我们希望你们能提高对鲨鱼关注！

今年，我们将要求政府对鲨鱼计划采取后续行动，其中最重要的是改进割取鲨鱼鳍禁令以及对于濒危鲨鱼品种的零配额。你可以通过递交交线上请愿书或者与我们会面在：

Scheveningen –又到了这个时间了！2009欧洲鲨鱼周将要开始并且十分必要。大多数欧洲鲨鱼的数量因为过度捕捞而减少。三分之一的鲨鱼濒临灭绝。欧盟对于割取鲨鱼鳍并且随意丢弃其尸体的禁令在世界上是最弱的。

新的希望来自于欧洲委员会通过的新鲨鱼计划，这个计划的通过也得感谢许多人的支持。这个计划为改进欧洲鲨鱼政策提供了一个平台，其中包括禁止割取鲨鱼鳍。它的成功依赖于欧盟渔业部门和欧洲委员会的合作及行动。这些渔业管理者需要欧洲公众的支持来主动遵从这项计划并且真正保护鲨鱼。

10月10日至18日的欧洲鲨鱼周是一个让欧洲各地人们表达对鲨鱼保护支持的机会。通过参与欧洲鲨鱼周我们希望你们能提高对鲨鱼关注！

去年2008欧洲鲨鱼周上有200多项活动并且收集到了100000多个为鲨鱼计划请愿的签名来呈交给欧盟渔业部。此后，渔业部长们发出了很强的回应来强调鲨鱼所处的困境并且号召推动加强欧盟割取鲨鱼鳍禁令。

今年，我们将要求政府对鲨鱼计划采取后续行动，其中最重要的是改进割取鲨鱼鳍禁令以及对于濒危鲨鱼品种的零配额。
